Nathan Mountain edged Carson Williams by just .07 seconds to win the Primetime timing men's 3,000m steeplechase in 8:31.81 and capture the first U.S. national title of his career. 

Williams finished second in 8:13.88, with Duncan Hamilton right behind in 8:14.05 as just .24 seconds separated the entire podium.
