We’re getting closer to the 30th Annual Run Wild for the Detroit Zoo on Sunday, Sept. 13! 

Whether you’re chasing a PR, bringing the family for a wild Sunday stroll or simply looking for a meaningful way to support animals, now is the time to sign up.

This year’s Run Wild celebrates 30 years of wild miles — and we’re marking the milestone with our newest mascot, the alpaca. Known for resilience, curiosity and their strong connection to the herd, alpacas remind us that we’re stronger together. 🦙💚

And that's not all; your miles make a difference. All proceeds support the Ruth Roby Glancy Animal Health Complex, helping provide world-class medical care to the animals at the Detroit Zoo and Belle Isle Nature Center.
