$30 Family Meal Challenge: Jersey Mike’s Edition

This one is a game-changer. I ordered two Sub in a Bowl (Turkey & Provolone + Italian) and added on two full-size loaves of bread. When I got home, I sliced the loaves and stuffed them with the sub fillings to make two giant subs.

Here’s why this works:
• A giant sub normally costs $18–19
• A sub in a bowl + full loaf is about $13
• That’s a $5 savings per sandwich
• And honestly, there was so much filling I could’ve made three subs out of these two bowls!

Total cost: just under $30
Feeds: 4–6 people
