FAMILY FUN NIGHT: Ice Cream in a Bag.

If you haven’t tried making homemade ice cream in a bag, save this post and add the ingredients to your next free grocery pickup! It makes a fun activity and treat.

In a quart-size freezer bag, combine:
• 1 cup half and half
• 2 Tbsp sugar
• 1/2 tsp vanilla

In a gallon-size freezer bag, combine:
• 3 cups ice
• 1/3 cup kosher salt

Place the quart-size bag inside the gallon-size bag and shake, shake, shake! In 5-7 minutes you’ll have ice cream. Feel free to stir in your favorite toppings and enjoy.
