My favorite first-day-of school tradition is having fresh-baked cookies and milk for my kids when they get home. We started this tradition a few years ago after I heard it from cakebycourtney and it’s been so fun!

Usually I don’t remember it until the kids are already at school, so whipping up some cake mix cookies is usually what I resort to.
