For June’s #homegrownpanel topic, I discussed how we have “quiet time” every day in the summer and I wanted to give a few more details about that (because it’s my saving grace everyday!). The basic rules:⁣
⁣
* 1 hour of quiet alone time per day⁣
* Each child is in a different room⁣
* They grab a couple books/toys to take with them or they can nap⁣
* No screens⁣
* Use a clock to keep track of time so they don’t have to ask and know when quiet time is over⁣
⁣
