Before he leaves Congress, Al Green wanted to make one more thing clear.

The longtime Texas Congressman filed new articles of impeachment against Trump, accusing him of running ICE as an unaccountable paramilitary force responsible for the deaths of four civilians, including Renée Good and Alex Pretti in Minnesota. Green says he has details on what he’s calling a cover-up.

This is Green’s third impeachment push across two Trump presidencies. He’s set to lose his seat in January after redistricting placed him in the same district as a fellow Democrat, but he says this fight was never about party lines.

“They’re about right and wrong. They’re about life and death.”
