In celebration of everything Dolly Parton has done for women, girls, and humanity. 🦋

Her hit film and song "9 to 5," put workplace discrimination against women in-front of a mainstream audience. 

In 1974, she refused to  sign away half the publishing rights for "I Will Always Love You" to Elvis's team. She kept ownership of her own work, and reshaped what a woman in music was allowed to hold onto. 🎶

She's spent the decades pulling other women up with her - using her own platform to revive theirs. 

In 1995 she launched the Imagination Library, posting a free book to enrolled children every month. It's given away over 250 million books worldwide, alongside donations spanning wildfire relief to vaccine research.

She's never been just a voice. Dolly Parton is a global icon, a humanitarian, an actress, a philanthropist who's spent decades giving as much as she's performed.
