These specific habits keep men weak and mediocre, and understanding the underlying physiology is the first step to getting relief.

As Chief Health Officer to Fortune 500 CEOs and World Champion athletes, I’ve seen even the most accomplished human beings in the world fall for these traps, however, they are SIGNIFICANTLY more dangerous to the average ambitious person because they reinforce mediocrity and keep them stuck.

They are:

1)P*rn, the illusion of intimacy —> lower motivation to pursue meaningful connection & intimacy

2)Video games, the illusion of achievement —> less driven to succeed IRL

3)Processed food, the illusion of nourishment —> no appetite for “boring” whole foods

4)Dating apps, the illusion of choice —> never satisfied with one person

5)Doomscrolling, the illusion of learning and connection —> social anxiety and brain rot

6)Weed, the illusion of peace —> little to no structure around mental health and nervous system regulation

7)Alcohol, the illusion of confidence —> unresolved trauma and fear of authenticity

I’m not speaking from a pedestal… I’ve fallen for almost all of them… As a modern human, it’s almost impossible not to. Why? Because they are ubiquitous and tied to the reward centers behind our physiological needs— they exploit them!

By giving our brain and body THE IMPRESSION that we’re satisfying our needs WITHOUT THE EFFORT, we end up in a reality where we suffer under the ILLUSION that we’re happy.

The road to hell often feels like heaven.
The road to heaven often feels like hell.

What path will you take? Let’s discuss in the comments.
