Variable reward loop: the slot-machine mechanic behind infinite scroll.

Social engineering: manipulating behavior at scale by exploiting human psychology, not code.

Predictive programming: the theory that repeated exposure to a narrative makes you accept it as inevitable.

Technostress: the clinical term for what your nervous system does after 20 minutes of all this.

None of it is accidental. 

It’s a business model, and your attention is the inventory.
