Dolly Parton’s musical legacy is likely to live on well after her passing, if her previous plans were any indication.

The country music legend, who died Tuesday at age 80 after a brief battle with cancer, once said she had a huge catalog of unfinished songs that she wanted to release over the next several decades.

“I’ve got hundreds, hundreds, even thousands of songs — a big part of them have never even been recorded,” she revealed on the “Dolly Parton’s America” podcast in 2019.
