With one more practice and preseason game to go, time is dwindling for the Panthers and the rest of the NFL to make their roster decisions.

By Sunday at 6 p.m., all front offices and coaching staffs must cut their rosters from 90 players to 53. For Carolina, this is a difficult task. A lot of players have under or overperformed this summer.

But difficult is good. It means there is a lot of depth on the roster, which it looks like the Panthers have for the first time in a while. It's a pivotal year as the Black & Blue look to defend their NFC South title.
