Aidan O’Connell has never had it easy in Vegas, third-string quarterback yet again behind Kirk Cousins and rookie Fernando Mendoza in 2026. But that’s kind of been the story of his whole career, grinding through new OCs and new competition every single year since he got there.

Even buried on the depth chart, he keeps showing out, leading a comeback win over the Texans in the preseason like it’s nothing new. Raiders fans know the deal with AO by now, count him out and he’s gonna make you regret it.

Does O’Connell deserve a real shot to start somewhere in this league?
