Tony Dorsett is one of the greatest running backs in football history. From his childhood in Western Pennsylvania and historic career at the University of Pittsburgh to becoming a Dallas Cowboys legend, this feature-length football documentary tells the complete story of the man behind #33.

Dorsett helped lead Pitt to the 1976 national championship, won the Heisman Trophy and was selected second overall by the Dallas Cowboys in the 1977 NFL Draft. As a rookie, he helped Dallas win Super Bowl XII and went on to become one of the defining players of the Cowboys’ legendary Tom Landry era.

His NFL career included 12,739 rushing yards, four Pro Bowl selections and one of the most famous plays in NFL history: Tony Dorsett’s record-setting 99-yard touchdown run against the Minnesota Vikings.

Through rare archival footage, career highlights, personal stories and intimate conversations, Tony revisits his childhood, Pitt football career, Dallas Cowboys years, Super Bowl success, life as an NFL superstar, the physical demands of professional football, the final years of his career and his life after the game.

The documentary also follows Tony’s relationship with his son, former NFL player Anthony Dorsett Jr., as father and son revisit the memories, sacrifices and defining moments that shaped their lives.
