We asked the drivers what they do in Monterey when they’re not racing.
Not one of them said the racetrack.

“I recently picked up golf, which is a disaster.” Then, quietly: Pebble Beach, and a promise to make it a yearly tradition.

Everyone else went otters, big fish, clam chowder on the wharf, and the same restaurants every single year.
