Join Us in Honoring the Beautiful Legacy of PISD Alumna, Demarius Jones Five years ago, our Wildcat family lost a shining star — Demarius Jones, a proud Palestine ISD alumna with a voice that could move mountains. If you ever heard her sing, you know it was a blessing you never forgot. 
Today, her legacy of love continues through the hearts of her children who attend PISD, and her mother, Angela Jones, who refuses to let Demarius’ light fade. Each year, the Jones family honors her memory with a Sock & Toy Drive for children spending their holidays in the hospital in Dallas.
This year, Wildcat Nation is joining them.
Through December 13th, we will be collecting new socks and toys at all PHS Fine Arts events and the Southside Elementary event. Look for the donation boxes and help us bring warmth, comfort, and joy to children who need it most.
Mrs. Jones personally delivers these gifts to a special Christmas celebration for hospitalized children — bringing smiles, hope, and a little bit of Demarius’ angelic spirit to each one.
