Honoring Tom Ball’s Wildcat Legacy 🐾
Palestine ISD proudly celebrated the life and love of Tom Ball, a 1962 PHS graduate and retired Department of Public Safety Trooper, whose dedication to Wildcat Nation never wavered.

Before his passing, Mr. Ball had been gifted a 48-inch Wildcat emblem that he planned to present to his alma mater. On Tuesday, his family joined PISD leaders—including Superintendent Jason Marshall, Assistant Superintendent Suzie Eiben, Coach James Reyes, and PR Director Larissa Loveless—for a special presentation of the sign.

PISD honored his memory by presenting his widow with two PHS Arc Light yearbooks (1961 & 1962) and gifting his son an autographed PHS football helmet featuring his dad’s name. Lunch was provided for all in attendance as the district remembered a man whose Wildcat spirit will live on for generations. 💜🤍
