The post apocalyptic film, adapted from Peter Heller’s 2012 novel, follows survivors after a pandemic has almost wiped out humanity.⁠

If that score holds, it would place The Dog Stars among some of Scott’s lowest rated films on the site, alongside Hannibal, Kingdom of Heaven and The Counselor.⁠
