What an incredible way to give back ❤️⁠

Lewis Capaldi offered hundreds of thousands of hours of free therapy to fans, after previously speaking openly about how important therapy has been in his own life.⁠
⁠
One of the people who took up the offer was emkeyworth, who was diagnosed with stage 4 Hodgkin lymphoma aged 33 and underwent six rounds of intensive chemotherapy before later needing 15 rounds of radiotherapy. Emily told LADbible that the experience took a huge toll on her mental health.⁠

She said: “I was in hospital every day. I was speaking to other cancer patients and they were telling me about their stories and it actually just took a toll on my mental health. I realised that I was spiralling and I didn't feel good.”⁠

After coming across Capaldi's BetterHelp offer, Emily signed up and was matched with a therapist the following day. Now 35 and in remission, she says therapy has helped give her a new perspective on life.⁠

Emily has since moved to London and was invited to Capaldi's Wythenshawe Park show, where she had the opportunity to meet him and thank him in person. 🙌⁠
