Will Ferrell has a pretty savage way of teaching his kids the value of money 😂⁠

The actor, whose fortune has been estimated at around $160 million (£120m), claimed he refuses to pay for things for his three sons, including food and clothes, because he wants them to “earn it”.⁠

Speaking on comedian Harland Williams’ podcast, Ferrell said: “I won't pay for like stuff for my kids.”⁠

He even joked that when the family goes away, he flies first class while sending his sons economy on a completely different flight, deliberately choosing cheap flights with plenty of stopovers.⁠

Ferrell explained: “I'm trying to teach the value of a buck.”⁠
⁠
However, there’s a pretty big catch. The conversation became increasingly ridiculous, with the pair joking about putting his kids in dog crates and even on the roof of a plane, strongly suggesting Ferrell was doing a deadpan comedy bit rather than revealing his actual parenting rules.⁠

Given Ferrell’s sense of humour, we probably wouldn’t take this parenting advice too seriously 😭⁠
