#TSRTrialWatch: As Lil Durk’s murder for hire trial continued, prosecutors presented more alleged evidence and testimony tied to the case. According to reporter lamag FBI Special Agent Farmby continued his testimony, including details about alleged text messages found on Durk’s phone. The messages reportedly discussed Timothy Leeks’ release on bond following the killing of King Von, with one message allegedly saying his release would “wake them up.”_________________________
Jurors were also shown an unreleased music video in which Durk allegedly sees news reports about King Von’s death before retrieving a gun and shooting a person dressed similarly to Leeks. The person is then shown driving away as Durk smiles. Messages are also shown of Durk, DeAndre Wilson, and David Saulsberry in a group chat discussing that OTF Jam was going to tell the “feds” soon. Durk wrote: “He gone tell soon.” Wilson wrote: “He thinks he can break us down.” Durk later responded: “As long as we don’t break, they can tell them whatever.”

Kacey Hester, aka OTF Jam, took the stand and testified about his alleged involvement in the events surrounding the case. Jam said he was a Black Disciples leader and known as a “shooter.” He also testified that Durk regularly contacted him while he was incarcerated and allegedly sent money to his books.

Jam also testified about an alleged plan targeting Quando Rondo in LA. He claimed he and Asa Houston traveled to San Diego, where he was allegedly informed of a plan to kill Rondo. Jam said Durk was on another phone during the conversation and that his voice could be heard in the background. Jam also testified he was told Durk did not want anyone coming to Los Angeles to contact him.
