Four humanoid robots charged toward the finish line at full speed… and chaos followed. 🤖💨

During the 2026 World Humanoid Robot Games in Beijing, four blade-footed robots raced down the track before crashing into a barrier moments later. The robot in front was even launched into the air as sparks flew.

The event brings together 2,056 robots from 666 teams, competing across 51 different events.

Apparently, teaching robots how to run fast is one challenge. Teaching them how to stop might be an even bigger one. 😅
