The WWE merger lawsuit settlement is close to done.

Per court records obtained by Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics, an attorney for the WWE defendants told the court Monday that the outstanding issues between them and Vince McMahon over intra-defendant releases have been addressed. They now await final signoff from non-party insurance carriers, and say they will provide signature authority immediately once it comes.

McMahon and the plaintiffs have already authorized execution of the settlement. Plaintiffs say it totals $147.5 million, with WWE's portion disclosed as $105 million.

Vice Chancellor J. Travis Laster approved the request for the parties to report back today.
