These past two weeks have been such a strange mix of emotions.

Every day, we wake up wondering, “Is today the day?” while part of me is also realizing that these are the last few days I’ll ever have you this close to me.

I’m so ready to meet you, but I already know I’m going to miss the kicks, the wiggles, and knowing you’re safe and cozy inside me.

But srsly, dude. You’re five days past your due date. We would quite like you to come out now. 😂

I understand the hesitation. The world can be a big, scary, complicated place. 

But what you don’t know yet is just how many people are waiting on the other side to love you.

People who will hold you, protect you, make you laugh, teach you, and help you grow into the kind, loving little human we already imagine you’ll be.

So whenever you’re ready, bubba!
