Basement, Outbreak Fest x All Points East 2026

REVIEW: Few bands better embody everything Outbreak has been, is now, and will be in the future than Basement.
Sticking to your guns, celebrating what you love and building something special with your friends; that’s what this is all about, and that’s not changing anytime soon.
And after closing out the festival up in Manchester earlier this Summer, it only seems fitting that the band are seeing out the season by showing off their shine in the South, too.
With the release of their long-awaited new album ‘WIRED’ back in May, it’s already been a flagship year for the band, and the new additions to their discography feel spritely in the early afternoon sun, ‘The Way I Feel’ beautifully wistful and the title track emphatically frantic. And when presented alongside the timeless singalongs that accompany ‘Whole’ and ‘Covet’, you have one of the most gorgeously rousing sets you’re going to see all day.
Though more than anything, vocalist Andrew Fisher wants to make this moment one built to inspire.
Before a closing serenade of ‘Promise Everything’, he makes sure that the masses gathered here know there is no difference between the people on either side of the barricade.
You can do this too. Your dreams are in reach. Absolutely nothing is stopping you.
And it is that sort of humility, honesty and heartfelt sentiment that continues to make Basement a cut above the rest.
