Still shots of the schoolhouse…while it’s clean. Planning a schoolhouse tour video this week, but in the mean time, here are pics of her while she’s calm and clean. Spoiler: this place only looks like this 1x a week when we clean at the last day of our school week. This place is meant to be used! They can go crazy with their school, art, and imagination! Also sharing FAQs about this space of ours: Let’s talk about our schoolhouse ⭐️ Is a homeschool shed necessary? Absolutely not. Any family can have a successful homeschool journey from their couch or kitchen table ❤️  ⭐️ What inspired it? Our boys attended a one room schoolhouse the year I was pregnant & had the twins. It was called the country school, and it was in a building just like this - filled with a handful of wonderful children, 1st grade through high school. She ended up closing, but I wanted to keep that same feel for my boys. I hope, one day, when my boys are all school-age, we can run a micro school or co-op out of this school shed of ours. For now we love hosting holiday homeschool parties from here!  ⭐️ How big is it? 14x40. We opted for bigger because we have family from out of state who use it as a guest house when they visit.  ⭐️ where did we get it? A repo lot! We shopped repo lots for months before finding this one! Repo lots have them marked down since they are used! Sometimes you can even find them with electrical and drywall installed! Ours was completely empty, so Beau did the entire inside himself!  ⭐️ How did you pay for it? Social media ❤️ every time I got paid from a collab, I’d buy the next thing we needed (drywall, flooring, etc). It took over a year to complete for this reason, but it was completely funded by the work I do on social media.  ⭐️ Do you regret it? 100x no. This space is used and abused, and I’d make the same decision over and over again!
