Five people are dead — along with multiple domestic animals — after an apparent mass killing Saturday at a rural property in unincorporated Washington County near Forest Grove, officials said Sunday.

Officials from the Washington County Sheriff’s Office said at a Sunday afternoon press conference that officials learned of the “quintuple homicide” at 47350 Northwest Otis Lane around 5:30 a.m. Saturday.
