The Minnesota Vikings opened the 2026 preseason with a 13-10 win over the New York Giants at MetLife Stadium.

For the first preseason game of the year, I caught up with Giants and Vikings fans before and after the game to hear how they’re feeling about their teams heading into the 2026 season.

Giants fans have some HIGH hopes this year, while Vikings fans are looking to see what their team can put together in a tough NFC North. Overall, both fanbases seem cautiously optimistic — but as always, there were definitely some interesting takes 😂

It’s only preseason, but football is officially back.
