A four-legged hero helped bring a search to a safe end 🐾  A Cook County Sheriff’s K9, AJ, helped officers track down a missing boy last week.

According to Cook County Sheriff's Office, "On the morning of Aug. 22, K9 AJ and her handler, Cook County Sheriff’s Police Officer Joshua Johnson, responded to assist in finding a juvenile who was reported missing earlier in the night in unincorporated Maine Township. After sniffing an article of clothing, AJ got to work. She led officers down Potter Road, where they found him. Way to go AJ!"
