Things to do:
- Scenic drives for leaf peeping- very excited for this, starting soon! 🍂 this was Cripple Creek area near coloradomountainhaus last October

- Visit the Stanley Hotel- cool to see this historic hotel and there are shops, tours, restaurants and bars and of course you can stay too but we have definitely gone to just see it as well

- Explore the Paint Mines east of Colorado Springs, these unique rock formations what feels like the middle of nowhere. Please LNT

- Watch the hot air balloons- Labor Day is coming soon and there are some to see in CO Springs and you can also see during the Chile festival in Pueblo

- Sunrise hike- some of the best views, no people, my personal favorite time to go on a scenic hike

- Dispersed camping- so many great spots in CO, make sure to follow fire restrictions and LNT

- Bishop castle- this past month reopened as it is very fortunately not touched by the recent wildfire. Of course donations are helpful to the family to keep it free to visit

- denverunionstation- it’s just cool to see and near many great spots in Denver. I walked around here and the area to see art and did not spend any $ so yes you can hit things and go to the restaurants/coffee shop/bar/shops or you can see & enjoy
