⚽️ Miranda Preece was the hero for the westernwsoc as they took a 1-0 win over Waterloo on Friday afternoon.

Preece returned to the Mustangs lineup for the first time in two years and netted the lone goal of the game to secure a season-opening victory.

"We're such a pressing team that I almost heard the coaches in the back of my mind saying press. The goalie played it to the defender. I saw the ball going back. I kind of just ran with all I could. I'm just full of joy right now," said Preece

The Mustangs return to the pitch on Sunday afternoon, on the road to York. Game time is set for 1:00 pm from Toronto.
