## Caption

Up before daylight. cold enough to see my breath. Horse was fresh

Found a cow n calf down in the willows and pushed them back with the others. Rode along the Buffalo River, fixed some wire where the elk had come through

Ate lunch late with reins in hand. Horse pulled at the grass beside me

The aspens went gold in the last light and the mountains turned purple. Stayed a little longer.

Went to bed tired.
