Seeing OSA WAY officially become part of Oakland is such a beautiful and well-deserved recognition of a school that continues to shape the creative heartbeat of The Town.

Shoutout to Mike Oz and the incredible educators, staff and community behind Oakland School for the Arts who pour into these young artists every day, giving them the space, guidance and confidence to discover their gifts and become the superstars we already know they are.

This street naming is more than a sign. It’s a reminder that when we invest in Oakland’s young people, their creativity, talent and dreams deserve to take up space—literally.
