A missing 15-year-old girl was found deceased in Yuma. More than two months later, a 52-year-old man is now accused of taking her life.

Diana Lucia Valle Walle disappeared from San Luis before she was found near Stetson Street and Mesa Avenue on June 1. Authorities initially described her passing as suspicious and have not publicly revealed what happened to her.

On Thursday, U.S. Marshals and Yuma County deputies arrested Mark Spadt at a home south of Interstate 8. He faces charges connected to Diana’s passing, alleged misconduct involving a minor, custodial interference and evidence tampering.

Investigators have not disclosed Spadt’s alleged connection to Diana or what evidence led to his arrest.
