The 2026 race got underway in the historic market town of Cockermouth, as the world's best riders began five days of elite racing across Britain.

Lorena Wiebes (Team SD Worx - Protime) took the stage win over an aggressive and gritty 158.9kms, extending her record of being the most decorated woman in Lloyds Tour of Britain history.
