After all the boxes were packed and the trucks pulled away, I took one last walk through of our Maryland home. It was a quiet Sunday morning, and somehow, in the emptiness, I could feel all the life we had lived here—the home we built, the garden we grew, the people we gathered, and the years of watching Dallas grow within these walls. It’s hard to put into words what it means to leave a place that has held so much of our story. Wild Pines was more than a home. It was a chapter of our lives that shaped us, and one I’ll carry with me always.
