Packapalooza, the block party and street festival capping off the first week of college at NC State, returned once again this past Saturday, bringing food, retail, student organizations and music all together to kick off the new semester.

Food and interactive games were present throughout the event, including a virtual reality rollercoaster simulator, a race car simulator sponsored by Monster Energy, as well as carnival games like basketball.

This year’s musical headliner, Y2K: The Millennium Party, took the stage prior to the grand firework finale.

Prior to the headliner, other important features of NC State took the stage, including the University marching bands, cheerleaders and several other groups.

Packapalooza has become a key facet of the NC State community, with continuous growth throughout the years bringing students and the Raleigh community together.
