Everything I do on a lake comes back to four words.

Observe. Locate. Present. Adapt.

You observe the water and learn to read it. You locate the fish, because a perfect rig in the wrong spot catches nothing at all. You present a bait in a way they will actually eat. And you adapt, because the day they switch off you switch with them.

That loop is the whole thing. Rigs and bait are the supporting cast, and the industry has had it the other way round for twenty years.
