What started with paint became a lasting change for safer streets. 🎨

Through our #AsphaltArt Initiative, kansascity artists and community members transformed a dangerous intersection with colorful murals and street redesigns designed to slow traffic and create safer spaces for pedestrians.

After average traffic speeds dropped by 45% and the percentage of pedestrians who felt safe tripled, the city made the temporary redesign permanent - showing how creative ideas can become lasting solutions.
