🙏🏿🙏🏿 11 days ago, former Unified Super Welterweight Champion Jarrett Hurd decided to retire in the ring, like he promised he would if he were to lose. He respects himself and the sport too much to stick around if he can't beat a fighter at the level of his opponent, Johan Gonzalez 36-4. Hurd had a tremendous run in the division from 2015-2018 racking up 6 knockouts and a win over Erislandy Lara to become a unified champion. He's also the only man to stop Austin Trout.
