How often do you think about time?⏳

As a lacrosse goalie one of the most common tips I get is to be present. Focus on the moment and leave the thoughts about the past and the future outside the field. 

It wasn’t an easy task to stop thinking about the passage of time as this was my second time at sixes_mty and my first time repeating participation on a tournament. Now that can get in your head mid-game.

I’m at a point of my career where not everything is a new experience but I haven’t lived all that this game has to offer me either. At this moment I could easily feel stuck on the past or confused about the future but luckily, this weekend I got to be surrounded with great mentors, loving teammates and inspiring new talents that helped me remember how I got here. 

So yes, being present is very useful while being on cage trying to read all the shots (especially on sixes). But if thoughts about time ever cross your mind don’t resist them… embrace your journey and be certain that you’re exactly on the path you should be towards exciting new things. ⚔️♥️
