Giancarlo Stanton has had one hell of an MLB career. He debuted with the Marlins in 2010 and quickly became one of baseball’s most feared power hitters. Then came 2017, when he went absolutely nuclear — 59 home runs, 132 RBIs, an NL MVP, and a Home Run Derby title.

In Miami, Stanton became the face of the franchise and hit 267 home runs. His power was unreal — he could turn a line drive into a home run and crush baseballs harder and farther than almost anyone.

Since joining the Yankees, injuries have unfortunately become a big part of his story. At 36, another calf injury has limited him to just 24 games in 2026, and he’s now on the 60-day IL. With 456 career home runs, we could be watching the final chapter of one of baseball’s most incredible power hitters.
