Could the Bruins extend Minten before the season? 👀

In speaking with Jim McBride of the Boston Globe, Fraser Minten said that he’d love to stay in the city where he found his NHL footing:

“Obviously there’s things you have to think about when you have an upcoming contract expiring and just kind of putting it to the side and worrying about my training and what I can control and the season and let that stuff kind of take care of itself over time…. “Boston has done nothing but treat me super well and I really enjoy wearing the logo, So, that would be something that would be super appealing to me for sure.”

Minten is in the final year of his entry-level deal, making him eligible to sign a contract extension.  The 22-year-old had 17 goals and 18 assists in 82 games last season going from a third-line to first-line center at times.
