Aaron Donald was already the LAST dude you wanted to make angry and now he’s back with a Rams team that has serious expectation

Prime AD was basically an offensive coordinator’s worst nightmare. Double-team him, he could split it. Leave him one-on-one, your quarterback might have about two seconds to get rid of the ball.

That combination of strength, explosiveness and pure aggression is why Donald became one of the greatest defensive players this sport has ever seen.

3× Defensive Player of the Year. 8× First-Team All-Pro. 10× Pro Bowler. 111 career sacks. Super Bowl champion. Now after two seasons away, he’s putting the helmet back on.

Obviously, nobody knows if we’re getting the same Aaron Donald who used to completely wreck games by himself. He’s older, he’s been away from NFL football, and expecting prime AD would be crazy.

But even if he comes back at 70–80% of what he once was, that’s still a dude most offensive linemen aren’t going to enjoy seeing across from them. And on a talented Rams roster, he doesn’t have to do everything himself anymore. One thing is guaranteed though, Do NOT piss off Aaron Donald.
