That did NOT feel like a preseason game

Green Bay and Arizona really went into the final week of the preseason and decided to give us one of the wildest games of the entire summer.

80 combined points. Offenses flying up and down the field. Big plays. Momentum swings. And an ending that had absolutely no business being that entertaining for a game that doesn’t even count in the standings. Most preseason finales are about surviving the night, evaluating the bottom of the roster and getting to Week 1 healthy.

This one turned into an actual SHOW. And there was another layer to it with Matt LaFleur and Mike LaFleur coaching against each other. Two brothers on opposite sidelines, both offenses letting it fly, and neither side wanting to give the other bragging rights heading into the regular season.

You already know that family group chat was probably unbearable afterward. But beyond the score, games like this are exactly why the final preseason week can be so entertaining. A lot of the guys on that field are fighting for roster spots and potentially their NFL careers. Every snap matters to somebody, and when both teams start playing loose, crazy things happen.

If this was our final appetizer before the regular season, I’ll take it.
