A serious situation developing around Packers RB Josh Jacobs

According to Wisconsin court records, Jacobs has been charged with misdemeanor battery and misdemeanor criminal damage to property. The legal process still has to play out, and it’s important to remember that charges are allegations, not a conviction. From a football standpoint, this immediately becomes something Green Bay will have to keep an eye on. Jacobs is a huge part of what the Packers want to do offensively, and any potential impact on his availability could create a major question for the team.

There’s also the NFL side of this. League discipline is a separate process from the courts, so there could eventually be another decision to watch depending on how the situation develops.
