Meet Marlin, a 7-month-old striped cat who lives to adventure. Not even a year old, Denver-based Marlin has explored the Arches National Park, Black Canyon, Telluride’s Blue Lake trail — he’s even completed 13er Mount Flora.

“From the moment I had them I took him outside all the time, pretty much every single day, so he’s very used to going outside,” Marlin’s owner Jamie Brunworth said. “It’s just something that I knew I wanted to do with my cat was make him an outdoor adventures cat.”

In November, Marlin went to the Great Sand Dunes — or, as Brunworth joked, the world’s biggest litter box. She shared that adventure in video that has since been viewed by more than 1.4 million people on TikTok. In fact, Marlin has garnered a large following since Brunworth decided to document their journeys on @neature.walk.with.marlin, accumulating over 10.7K followers on the social media platform.

The account started as a way to offload some videos from her phone and share with family and friends. Brunworth said. All it took was one viral video for Marlin to become a sensation.
