Nepal 🇳🇵 is facing devastating flash floods, with Rasuwa and the Bhote Koshi River among the worst-affected areas. 🌊🏔️
But how did the flood become so powerful? A sudden collapse of ice, rocks and debris in the high-altitude Himalayas may have triggered a massive surge of water, mud and rocks downstream.
Experts are also investigating whether a 4.4-magnitude earthquake played a role.
