Meet C1C Gabriella “Gabi” Diedrich from Lithia, Florida.

An Astronautical Engineering major and Martinson Honors Program cadet, Gabi comes from a military family and will commission into the usairforce as an intelligence officer. She chose #USAFA to serve her country, challenge herself and grow as a leader.

Experiences that helped shape her development include:
🛰️ 𝗩𝗔𝗟𝗘𝗫. Served on the A3 staff during VALEX Fall 2025, supporting coordinated training and evaluation across the Academy.
🇺🇸 𝗖𝗮𝗱𝗲𝘁 𝗪𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿. Gained experience leading at the strategic level while seeing how organizations work together to develop future officers.
🇫🇷 𝗖𝗮𝗱𝗲𝘁 𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿 𝗟𝗮𝗻𝗴𝘂𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗜𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺. Traveled to France, strengthened her French language skills, experienced another culture and built relationships with people from around the world.

Through academics, military training and leadership opportunities, Gabi says the Academy has prepared her to adapt to future challenges and lead as an Air Force officer.
