Right before summer break, about May-ish, I’m always like, “I just need FREEDOM. No schedules. No routines. We’re going with the flow.” ✨

And EVERY August my brain, household and body is like… girl PLEASE put us back on a schedule OH EM GEEEEEEE. 😭

Because why did I spend half the summer thinking I had suddenly become lazy, inconsistent and incapable of getting anything done???

Whole time, my neurodivergent brain was just out here raw dogging life with no structure and hella kids. 😂

See I guess it’s coming with age and growth, but I am becoming aware of how quickly I can turn what I’m experiencing into something I believe about who I am and that’s simply not true. 

Maybe I’m not unproductive.
Maybe I just need a lil structure. 🤏🏾 Like maybe not rigid, but def with some boundaries and anchors, ya know? 

Anyway, school is back and apparently so am I. 💃🏾😂
